The earlybird really does catch the worm
Working early is not for everyone but it certainly has its benefits.
I feel fortunate that I’m an early riser, I find my brain works best after a good nights sleep.
Conversely, don’t ask me to use my brain for anything of consequence by later afternoon, and you can forget about working after the sun goes down for me.
I was recording the last, in a series of videos for a module in my transition to working from anywhere program late the other afternoon, and it was taking me forever, it was taking me ten takes to a video right. I got up at 5am the next morning and knocked over the same video in 2 takes and nailed it.
Then I took myself for a walk on the beach for a short break, came back and continued working, worked until mid afternoon and ten headed out for a bike ride.
I’m able to do this because I’ve set my business up, not only to work from anywhere but to work at a time that suits me. So I fit my work around my life, rather than my life around my work.
So, interested to know, do you work at a time that best suits you or are you locked in to a schedule? Do you need to be there for working hours?
