THE CONVENTIONAL WAY
Emma Rhoades will share how her life changed dramatically when her father passed away, aged only 54. Emma now ensures that life is to be lived and business fits in with her- not the other way around.
Listen to the interview with Emma Rhoades, an inspiring account of building a business that could run without her, helping other photographers do what they wanted to do, and fulfilling her dream of being able to support and help other business owners to live the same life.
STEP 1 – THE FOUNDATION
The Accountability Map.
This is an important step. You may not think so right now, but you need to create your own Accountability Map before you go any further.
Download Accountability Map template.
STEP 2 – ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, ANY DEVICE
Share, control permissions and collaborate on Google Docs
Working in the Cloud collaboration is seamless and effective. Here is a step by step tutorial on how to share, control permissions and collaborate on Google Docs.
STEP 3 – GETTING THE PROCESSES OUT OF YOUR HEAD
The tools you will need
Asana plays a big part in a WFA business, you can sign up for a free account to get you started, that may even be all you need.
Loom is a fantastic screen and camera recording tool that can be used in many different ways to communicate effectively and efficiently.
WFA Systems Build & Action Flow – BUILD
This is the ‘build’ part of the process, here you will identify, organise, define and record the processes that make up your operation.
This is where you get the processes out of your head so everyone in your team can access the knowledge, procedures and processes from anywhere, at anytime and on any device.
STEP 4 – DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS FROM ANYWHERE
WFA Systems Build & Action Flow – ACTION
This is the good part, this is where you and your team action the processes and procedures that your business is built on with consistency and flow.
Managing your day-to-day to-do list and ad hoc tasks
It’s a simple one-two strategy:
- Add tasks from anywhere, at anytime and on any device
- Prioritise your “My Tasks” twice a day.
STEP 5 – MAKE TIME FOR LIFE
How Justine saved 30 hours a week
“I engage her for 20 hours a week, but she probably gives me 30 hours a week to be honest.
“She does the administrative tasks much quicker than I would, and she’s doing them over and over again while I was doing them in-between things, so having to multitask and switch was difficult.
“And that’s been a huge shift. Huge.”
It was an amazing conversation with Justine, watch the full conversation here
The Virtual Hub process
The Virtual Hub recruit, hire, train and mentor their own people and then pre-select 2-3 of their VAs to meet the client. Once the client chooses which one of the VAs they would like to work with they assign a Results Coach plus a Client Success Manager to the account. This ‘pod’ then services the account as a team to ensure ROI, growth & success for all.
