Ever dreamt about riding a bike in the French Alps but thought it would be too hard?

It is now possible to ride the spectacular French Alps without the need to be an elite cyclist

Leading small group cycling trips in the French Alps since 2012

Hi, I’m Andy….I’ve been living for up to 3 months in the French Alps every year since 2013. I cycle, hike, hang out with the locals and lead small group cycling trips from there.

I know the French Alps as my second home, my backyard and the local community as my friends. I’ve discovered the rides and hikes that you may not have heard of, some hidden gems.

I’ve been running small group cycle tours in France since 2012, more recently focusing my packages in the place I know the best, the French Alps.

Traditionally riding in the French Alps was the domain of the serious cyclist but not anymore. The emergence of the e-bike has now opened this breathtaking experience to anyone that can pedal a bike.

I invite you to join me to ride the French Alps by E-Bike in 2019.

When is it happening?

There will be 2 weeks to chose from, both are limited to a maximum of 8 riders:

Sunday 14th July, 2019 to Sunday 21st July, 2019

Sunday 21st July, 2019 to Sunday 28th July, 2019

Who is the French Alps by E-Bike for?

Anyone that can ride a bike, you don’t need to be an elite cyclist, as long as you can ride a bike and have a reasonable level of fitness this trip is for you.

This is a fully supported experience, you will be provided with an e-bike and will be guided and supported as you discover the breathtaking French Alps.

Where are we based?

Our base will be Le Vert, a small village at the base of the mountain made famous by the Tour De France, Alpe d’Huez.

We stay in what’s known as a Gîte. It’s an old house from 1750 restored in 1992 by Pauline and Éric. They preserved the ancient appearance by using stone and wood.

The rooms vary in size and outlook, each with its own charm. Simply decorated in provincial style, each one has a private bathroom. Towels and bedlinen are supplied.

There is a lovely dining room, a living room built in unique mountain style for all to share and a beautiful garden where dinner is often served.
