Would you like more FREEDOM in your life?
Would you like to be able to work from anywhere?
Would like to spend less time commuting and have more time for yourself?
Did you answer YES to all of the above but don’t know where to start?
We’ve done the research for you to save your time, we’ve tested the tools and cropped them down to a manageable number of options for you to choose from, this list could easily add up to 100+ but our aim is to save you time, not overwhelm you with choice.
The best news is, all of these tools are FREE, some have options to upgrade to paid plans but the FREE versions are all you need to get started.
So here they are, set out in 7 easy steps:
STEP 1. GET UP INTO THE CLOUD.
First up you need to get those files up in the cloud so you can access them from anywhere on any device at any time.
At WFA we use a combination of the following products. We store, share and collaborate on all of our files by utilizing a combination of the FREE storage available from each provider.

STEP 2. COMMUNICATE
The good news is the cost of communicating is now cheaper than ever, gone are the days of massive landline bills, all you need is an internet connection and a few of the beaut freebie tools out there.
Our go to option for voice calls and conference calls at WFA is Skype (free if Skype to Skype). We use Facebook Messenger for quick and easy instant messaging. Both have mobile apps for any device.

STEP 3. PRODUCTIVITY
Ok you have all your files in the cloud accessible from anywhere on any device at any time and you’re all set up to communicate in exactly the same way, now it’s time to put some productivity systems in place.
Over the years we have tried, tested and worked out what works best for us at WFA, then along comes a new product, and another and another.
Slack is our “can’t live without” tool for instant message conversations on particular topics that can be organized and filed for future reference. We love Evernote for storing and organizing receipts and bills, emails threads and all sorts of other bits and pieces. Pocket is the best tool ever for saving great stuff from the internet and tagging it so you can find it later and we’ve just started using Toggl to track where all those hours of the day go.

STEP 4. LEARNING – INVEST IN YOURSELF
Now before you go too much further you will need to get into the habit of continual Self Development.
This is probably one of the most important steps in your transition to the FREEDOM of Working From Anywhere, the world is moving faster now than ever and this trend will continue, you will need to keep up. The good news is once you get into this habit it can be most rewarding in so many ways.

Social Media can sap you time, so a well thought out plan and focusing on the channels that best relate to your business is a must.
